LYSAGHT® W-DEK® is a profiled zinc-coated high tensile steel decking for use in the construction of composite floor slabs. It has an exceptional composite performance – no additional reinforcement is required in most applications.
It can be used as formwork during construction and as a reinforcement system in composite slabs.
Classic 3′ (914mm) wide metal deck with “W” profile used as lost formwork in conventional slabs reducing concrete volumes for superior economy.
Choice of 51mm (2″) or 76mm (3″) ribs for superior spanning capacity to suit design requirements with less deflection providing a safe working platform during construction.
