NS BlueScope Lysaght Thailand is proud to offer our roofing and walling solutions to the CentralFestival EastVille project located at Latphrao, Bangkok.

The CentralFestival EastVille is an all-rounded, suburban hub for shopping, dining and recreation. Visitors can expect a wide variety of eateries, bars and modern galleries while shopping from a fine list of retailers.

The mall was designed to provide a relaxing, nature experience away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. With plenty of landscaping features, CentralFestival EastVille offers shoppers a calm and breezy experience along the walkways.

Other than that, the shopping centre is built based on several environmental initiatives. For instance, big mechanical fans are installed outdoor for good natural ventilation. The choice of roofing and walling systems also help reduce energy consumption. Some of these green efforts involved Lysaght’s technology and products.

Based on the Leadership in Energy & Environment Design (LEED) of the United States of America’s Green Building Council standards, the shopping centre’s design prioritised on wind direction and natural lighting in order to provide greater comfort for shoppers.

The Lysaght Solution

The KLIP-LOK^® 700 and ZIPDEK^® paired with ZINCALUME^® steel and COLORBOND^® steel were introduced to help achieve the shopping centre’s green initiatives.

On the building’s exterior, the façade is designed based on layers of leaves in different shades. This is where ZIPDEK^® is able to prove it’s curving capabilities to suit a variety of roofs.

LYSAGHT^® KLIP-LOK^® 700 

The KLIP-LOK^® 700 is a lightweight roofing and walling profile made from high tensile steel. It has a wide coverage of a concealed fastening system for a weathertight roof. Additionally, it’s designed for easy installation and on-site mobile roll forming for long lengths or lower roof pitches.

LYSAGHT^® ZIPDEK^®

Suitable for complicated roof geometries that involve tapering and curving panels such as CentralFestival EastVille, the ZIPDEK^® is a versatile structural standing roof system with a high-rib profile. This is the preferred roofing choice to meet the architecture’s needs. It’s also mechanically field-seamed to ensure its weather sealed.   

ZINCALUME^® and COLORBOND^® 

Both ZINCALUME^® and COLORBOND^® steels are designed with durability and adaptability in mind. They are also designed to help buildings maintain a cool temperature to fulfil CentralFestival EastVille’s needs.

COLORBOND^® steel is available in 22 colours, and it’s made for all types of environments. On the other hand, ZINCALUME^® is lightweight yet durable steel with excellent resistance to corrosion. As a result, ZINCALUME^® has a longer lifespan compared to ordinary galvanised steel.
