Located at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, or more often referred as Subang Skypark Terminal, the aircraft Hangar of Berjaya Air was a Design & Build project by NS BlueScope Lysaght and its affiliate, BlueScope PEB Sdn Bhd.

The project was completed in the year 2007, consists of a 3,400sq.m hangar and 2 blocks of double storeys offices next to the hangar. The Hangar the 5,000sq.m of roof and wall cladding was installed with LYSAGHT® TRIMDEK® offering a 54m clear span of good shelter for using aircraft of Berjaya Air, while the floor slab of office blocks was constructed using LYSAGHT®BONDEK® II.

With the experience gained in hundreds of BlueScope PEB’s Design & Build projects, as well as the advantages of Lysaght product, especially LYSAGHT®BONDEK® II, the project was completed in just approximately of 3 months from design to construction. Our strength was clearly demonstrated in this project.

LYSAGHT® TRIMDEK®, a subtle square low-ribbed fluted and pierced-fastened roofing profile, is not only fast to install, but it is also lightweight and yet strong for long spanning capabilities. These features have made LYSAGHT® TRIMDEK® one of the preferred roofing profiles for industrial buildings.

LYSAGHT® BONDEK® II which was used in the office blocks to replace the conventional RC floor slab gives excellent mechanical strength and speed of construction unmatched by conventional RC floor slab.
